Lambretta chopper revisited
Time flies! 15 years ago this week this SSC custom built Lambretta low rider chopper hit the road. Pretty much every piece of this scoot has been modified and hand crafted including the lowered and lengthened main frame, 1 off springer fork conversion, hand made tank, crocodile skin seat, handle bars, billet grips, pegs and footrests and rear mudguard to name a few. Finished off with a custom cnc billet front hydraulic disc brake , hydraulic rear disc brake, hydraulic clutch conversion ,twisted side stand, R1 rear shock, DJ pipe and a stunning candy met bronze paint job. Although kept the hand change the twin disc setup is operated by a 1-in-1 single lever keeping the main downtime nice ,clean and unclothed. All cabling and electrics runs through the frame and the engine side casing is beautifully hand engraved.
So it’s overdue for a revamp and a make over and today is the day for a strip down.
