Monday Malaguti madness – New EV project
A new start to a new week and we’re kicking off with a new e-project to give this vintage 1966 Italian Malaguti 50cc a new lease of life with one of our latest 72v4000w ekits. Fact of the day – This model was actually originally produced solely for the Vietnam market and was aptly named the ” Saigon 50″ . What has happened to the other 3000 I have no idea. Although we have converted many Vespa and Lambretta scoots to electric over the years this is a first. We will be updating the project as it develops…
It’s also a full house today at the main workshop for the guys with the usual mad rush of pre Vietnam New Year servicing and local repair jobs. Looking forward to getting some space back this morning with half a dozen of our big UK/EU Trade orders being shipped out this afternoon (Lurking in the background) and on their way to Saigon port for loading later this week. Our latest batch of Billet Vespa CNC hydraulic front disc brake kits will be back from polishing later today for assembly and our new stock includes VBB 8″ kits , VLB 10″ kits and Small frame all with our latest anti dive upgrades.
