Tuesday task of the day – Lambretta Tv3 175cc engine rebuild
This much sought after early 1960’s Italian Innocenti Lambretta Tv3 175cc model gets a final motor rebuild today and some upgraded custom specs before heading overseas to Australia. This 1963 model is finished in a stunning 3 tone 60’s style green and white with gold pin striping classic racer livery and has been restored back to standard bodywork specs with a sporty Nanucci seat, Italian spec disc brake, stainless rims and finished off with a sebring rack.
Engine specs have been beefed up using the original block with an awesome Scuderia 198cc touring kit, Tameni crank, 30mm dellorto and 12v AC Electronic ignition kit. The gearbox has been upgraded to a new GP200 kit, SSC Japanese 5 plate clutch and finished off with an AFR Clubman box pipe. Road test update to follow…
